Writing to Influence

The only constant in the 21st century is change, but not all changes are good. Centuries of social and political evolution have taught us how to show change in numerous ways and forms. However, it’s worth noting the variety of methods that has been used to bring about that transformation. Historic figures have tried to convey their word through art and literature, peaceful protests and even violence.

These approaches, along with many more, can still be seen in the modern world. It’s also worth noting that the political realm isn’t the only aspect of life that might need to undergo transformation. Business change has always been a part of the equation. Writing makes sure that an individual always stays on top of the latest marketing trends and adjust to the ever-changing marketing landscape.

Even though my blogging journey has just started, I would still do some form of writing in my leisure time. I have developed crucial abilities and aspects in good writing, because of my writing journey. One of them is maintaining a consistent writing style. Consistency broadens your reach in the minds of readers, increasing your chances of gaining supporters. And it is very important to keep your audience interested by sharing useful and relevant content, which also helps to attract potential clients and prospects.

Another writing lesson I learnt contradicted a widespread Gen-Z idea. Writing is not a place where you can be inflexible while pretending to be unique. Because the reception of your work is so crucial in change-making, it’s critical to constantly solicit feedback and look for ways to improve. In brief, writing may be a powerful tool for any kind of business change if done correctly, with a positive perspective, and through correct research and analysis.

I want to remind you, as a major believer in the growth mentality, that practically any ability can be mastered, if you’re an aspiring writer, don’t give up simply because there isn’t much output or traction at first. Keep going and looking for ways to improve; it’ll all be worth it in the end! Because it’s a learnable skill, don’t be afraid to take advantage of possibilities to improve your performance.
